half day project. had to choose one from a list of historical events involving numbers and illustrate it. mine was about a follower of pythagoras who managed to prove that irrational numbers existed, which went against one of pythagoras’ theories. allegedly he and his followers were so infuriated that they took him to the sea and drowned him. harsh. this definitely didn’t take half a day, every strand of hair was scalpelled by hand. i think i might be a masochist.
